Well that’s not ideal The pull chain for the light in the craft room snapped clean off I can still turn the fan off at the switch, but I guess I’m using lamps in here for the time being until I can figure out how to fix that

Back at it with my little guy! I really love how the base shaped up. I’m not entirely happy with the plaque, though. I’d expected it to be engraved when I ordered it, not printed. That’s on me for cheaping out and getting a plastic one, though… Might just bite the bullet and reorder it in brass…

Nice sunset tonight, but the skeeters are ferocious
Did a layer of copper paint on the bands first but went back with a silver instead. Think it wound up giving it a nice undertone! MANY layers of washes later to tarnish it up, then sealed with two coats of matte Polycrylic. Cheers 🍻 #🍄🏠
Tired… But at least I don’t have to mow this forsaken corner anymore~ Have some cleanup yet to do, but in hoping to grow this out into a whole shade garden

I had to replace the charger plug for these and still have to clean up the wires, but it's looking good!
…Heck, I’m really liking how this is shaping up It’s mostly just washes of various strengths, plus some very thinned out doodles along the divots and crevices of the print texture I might leave the wood here and turn to the banding?
