Earlier this year I adopted my grandparents' half-blind, deaf, senior cat She's 16 years old, and this is her first time Christmas with a tree. She has decided that this is where she sleeps now (it's very cute, but I can feel the budding anticipatory guilt re: taking it down)
I made a Star Wars cake! (For those who might be interested it's a split double/triple layer chocolate sponge cake filled with chocolate ganache, topped with vanilla buttercream, oreos, and dark chocolate shavings)
My childhood cat, Dotty (full name: Poppy Dotty Dora), passed away over the weekend. She was 18 years old, & had an inoperable cancerous tumour. She was due to be PTS this week, but decided to escape from the house to pass on her own terms, which is so very her She was a mean grump, & I'll miss her

Made the cats and dog their own tiny (pet safe) Christmas dinners. Mochi ate hers, hopped onto my lap, and spent the next 5 hours in a blissed-out food coma
