Report of a "100% black" big cat 🐈‍⬛ seen in a back garden at Bourne Hill, Wherstead (near the Orwell Bridge) at 17.15 on 15/07/26. "Walking slowly, with its tail angled down with tip angled up... distinct ears... long tail". It was 1m long, seen from c.15m for a few minutes.

A rare Essex wildmen on the roof at the Church of St John the Baptist and Our Lady at Thaxted. From the street you can just see thst he's carrying a club. Apparently carved by the same artist who did some of Suffolk's wildmen - All Saints, Sudbury? Sibton?

Report of a big cat seen this morning (20 04 26) in a field in Theberton, #Suffolk. “Black, long tail… Some white on head… About size of a large alsation dog,”length (nose to rump): “1m plus.” Seen for a few seconds 10m away.

Received a report of a long-bodied black big cat, "small head... body stretched out," seen for 2-3 seconds from 60m away at Whepstead (near Bury St Edmunds) at around 8.20am on 28 03 26. As "bus went past it dived into the hedge in one bound."

I received a report of a black big cat seen in headlights running across the road near Lawford, North Essex on the night of 20/03/26. "Very long, quite furry... thick, very long tail… Too big for a fox and not those proportions...Running like a big cat." Length approx. 1.5m, "larger than a dog."
