Art progress is going to get a bit slow starting tomorrow. I’m disabled with chronic pain & will be giving the dog a bath on Wednesday (pain flare trigger) & then, hopefully, a big shopping trip on Friday, which is also a major pain flare trigger. I expect to have to take a break til Mon or Tues.

Trying not to spiral tonight. Depression and self-doubt are difficult demons to wrestle at times. I’m sorry for being annoying. I’m sure I will be again. I try my best to be kind and empathetic but social skills feel like like a foreign language I’m navigating in an unfamiliar meat suit.

I don’t always have access to leafy greens but I do get an over abundance of fresh basil and tomatoes every summer. A ridiculous amount of basil. Basil became a vegetable in my house. 1/2

I made a salad. Cucumbers and cherry tomatoes, all home-grown, topped with mozzarella and a homemade vinaigrette.

Sliced and quarterd cucumbers fill a white bowl. They’re topped with cherry tomato slices, fresh mozzarella torn into bits, and a homemade vinaigrette.

Eldritch being dinner. (I grew these. That’s a 10” plate for scale.) I know they look overripe due to the yellowing, but that’s just how these are. They’re actually perfect for eating!

Anya and I were treated with ice cream at Owowcow today! Pretty good ice cream. Anya had Madagascar vanilla. Yes. The whole thing. I had blueberry cobbler. Mom had mint chocolate chip and mocha chip.

Digging through things, trying to find some paperwork and found some old game cartridges, including Final Fantasy Legend for the Gameboy. All I remember is that seemingly endless tower. Don’t think I ever beat the game.
