Question for those who watch playthroughs of games: if the game in question is the kind with level-ups and attendant stat allocations and that kind of thing, do you prefer to see such things in the video, or do you prefer that they just skip over it and stick to the actual gameplay?

I can't help but be somewhat amused by the concept of the guy who turns into a truck now turning into an ox-drawn cart. It does make a kind of sense, though.
I have to agree, really. The first bite is with the eyes 'n' all that. While most of the books I buy are because I've heard about them before rather than because the cover leapt out at me, I'd certainly rather buy a book that looks like fun than one trying to look "grown up". Which would you buy?
