I love being Australian but the older I get the more I appreciate my heritage of my birthplace in Dalmatia. Here's mum Mara (anglicised to Mary) demonstrating how she spun wool after she had shorn Beko, our one sheep. A fleece would make a jumper for dad and my little brother, or mum and me.
