Naked Wonder Man

New England nudist and dad. I’m always nude at home and outdoors when I can. Lover of nature, art and other beautiful things. * Followers or views I express or repost do not reflect views of any other person or entity I happen to share or talk about here.
Had Friday clothes-free river time. I love the way the sunlight fell here. And more than that must’ve fallen on my head, because I picked bits of the woods out of my hair in the shower last night!
These photos, on the ultimately cool, windy and wet last day, demonstrate how Provincetown tides change rapidly. Only 90 minutes had passed between the first two photos and the second two. I made sure my friend took the requisite shots of the Pilgrim Monument in the far background (two middle pics).
Just had my first time in a few years in Provincetown, Mass. The second of the 3 days was the best: hot enough to want to get wet, the ocean calm enough for a relaxing swim. The beach was only part of each day; it was easier to leave on the days the weather turned. But man… all weather is beautiful.
It’s hard wearing clothes on any sunny summer Saturday, let alone International Skinny Dip Day. But I chose to say yes to something that—I probably could have said no to. So here’s a favorite skinny dip pic of me—incidentally on a past Hike Naked Day, which I also had to skip this year. Such is life
The following weekend (Friday the 20th last year) was the summer solstice hike in Vermont… which I missed this year. 😟 But it returns every year! This was me last year on the trail and in the pond that we hike to. Happy beginning of summer to my Northern Hemisphere brethren, n@ked hike or not! 🙂
In 2025, Father’s Day and the summer solstice (aka World N@ked Hiking Day) were several days apart. First, for Father’s Day weekend, the campsite with the groovy van for sleeping and the body painting were courtesy of an Open House weekend at Human Connection Arts in the Catskills of New York state.
Going to a cleanup at a nudist campground and this is today’s weather! You get one free day pass to use in-season for putting in the hours today, but it’s nice when cleanup day is nude-friendly too. This isn’t one of those days. 🤷♂️ But looking forward to meeting an online friend for the first time!
Last week I enjoyed our taste of summer weather in early spring on the wooded and slowly increasingly green property of a friend. I knew the temps would plummet soon, and today my wife and I spent the day nude indoors giving some rest for our head colds. But glad to already have outdoor experience!
After joining previous protest days in my current town and nearby cities, on the latest No Kings Day I swung by my parents’ house to pick up my mother, and we joined the protest in the town they raised me in. I don’t remember explicitly being taught right and wrong, but our country needs the lesson.
Happy first day of spring!🌼 (To my fellow Northern Hemisphereans!) This is from 10 days ago during our first warm spell. The snow on the ground is gone, but it’ll be a little while till it’s nice enough to be worth trekking off again to a bare-friendly outdoor spot. But it’s soon coming for good!
So now I’m being dinged for NOT having my body completely uncovered—because somehow that makes it sexually suggestive 🙄 🤷
Had my first outdoor clothes-free opportunity of 2026 today! After a very wintry winter, the temp just hit 70F+ and I took advantage of a detour on a long ride home. This is just a sneak preview and it’ll go back to seasonably cold later in the week. Now let’s see if Bluesky labels this modest view.
I thought the previous snowstorm would be the biggest of the year, but today’s storm was a certified blizzard! It’s mostly “just” wind now, but not enough to knock out power. Nudity continues unabated. 😊 To all my fellow Northeastern U.S.-ers, hope you’re all getting through the storm safe and warm!
This has been a “real winter,” with bitter cold temperatures and a snowstorm reminiscent of my childhood. I had three layers covering my legs for shoveling, so at least I went commando underneath all of that. 😆 All the full nudity lately has been indoors, at home and occasionally at a friend’s home.
I visited friends and helped them set up for their nude Christmas Eve dinner, then spent the evening back home with family. I’m typically the only one nude at home while we celebrate, although my wife and I had a nude Christmas “morning” in bed well into the afternoon. Happy Holidays, fellow nudies!
This week I got to The Ledges in Vermont for the only time this year. But nice way to end the season! I missed most of the fall foliage, which came early due to a lack of rain that kept the reservoir low and the path dry. But while the distant hills appeared barren, I saw a bit more color closer up.
It’s the US holiday weekend marking the unofficial end of summer, and while I made it to inland swimming holes lots of times, I didn’t visit the nude ocean beach this year. This is “from the archives” of the last few years. Gotta love a clothing-optional beach with a distant skyline. #GunnisonBeach
As I climbed up, it was as if I could feel our summer start to wane here in North America. But if it were possible to look far enough, I’d also see the Southern Hemisphere spring on the horizon. Happy Spring to my naturist brethren south of the equator. Maybe I’ll pass you on my way down ☺️
A visit to my uncle’s included a skinny dip before my clothes-free kayak ride
I’m away on the first Home Nudist Day, but I’ve had quite a view staying at my uncle’s house overlooking a bay. Luckily he’s very nudist-friendly, though I cover up around my aunt and most of my nude time has been in the guest area upstairs and hanging with my uncle out back. Enjoy your day, nudies!
I’ve enjoyed this spot for nearly two decades, and the locals have gone nude there for generations. #SkinnyDipDay
I know, this isn’t a photo of the skinny dip. I was at Dyer Woods Nudist Campground and was part of a large group that posed at the pond, and I took some of my own dips. But only the designated photographer could snap pics in the common area. So here I am outside a cabin a friend was renting there 🤷♂️
Whenever I’m sitting in late-night serious traffic at a standstill like this, I wonder how much of my life has been stuck in traffic. If I could be nude it’d be halfway tolerable. But I can’t even get naked at my destination. Daughter earlier: “Daddy, I love you. But no going naked at my apartment.”
I was painted over most of the front of my body at a Human Connection Arts weekend open house in New York state. The brief getaway felt like a Father’s Day/birthday treat (and I got a Happy Father’s Day call from my family while being painted!) The paint was brighter and warmer than the weather… ☁️ 🙃
Nice, yes, and as for tranquil… I was at this other spot yesterday with family and it probably looks the most tranquil of all of the clothing-optional places along a river. The river from last week has a much larger area to be nude, including on much of the hike in and out. So, benefits to each one.
Ha! Lean shepherd’s pie? Incidentally I made it again this week, and here’s what it looked like this time. It’s one of those rare examples of food prep that takes me forever but I like doing.
Finally, some afternoon time in a clothing-optional area with a new buddy. The weather has been stingy, particularly on the weekends, so I was grateful to get last-minute company when a brief heat spell hit during the week. (And yes, the water is still pretty cold but I did dunk all the way under 🫠)
