I’ve been nude solo, nude with a group of other nude people, and nude with a group of clothed people. When I’m the only one nude among a group of textiles, I feel like I have a super power, like I have defeated shame while everyone else still suffers under it.

My steps have greatly increased in the last month as I actively try to get in shape.
“Shark Week” as a group costume was pretty cool concept. That they wanted a picture with me was also pretty cool. Was I supposed to be their meal?
This photo is from 2009. I was 42. Yeah, I was probably sucking everything in. But I was working out regularly, and I really like the way my lower abs have that V shape. This is what I want to get back to (and hopefully look more ripped than back then).
I met this mother and daughter at the 2010 Bay to Breakers. The mom then took a photo of me with the daughter. Her facial expression is priceless.
2012 to 2025. 13 years takes a bit of a toll, but I’m working on getting leaner. Mushroom coffee, long walks, planks and push ups will, I hope, make a difference.
