That beard is white now.
I managed to finally find a decent copy of OMD’s Sugar Tax on vinyl and it’s still absolutely fantastic.
Look Wannadies, it doesn’t matter how many times you release this album in different colours. I will still buy it. The absolute perfect pop album.
Very pleased to announce that after very, VERY tense negotiations, Sky TV will be staying at my house, at a financially reduced rate for the next 2 years.
Record fairs at the Boro Town Hall are always usually a bust for me, but today was pretty decent.
Thoroughly enjoyed seeing The Orb yesterday evening. 3rd time now at the Georgian Theatre and easily the best yet.
Travelled all the way to London to listen to an album. Worth every single penny.
Yeah sure, the country looks like it’s on its arse, but on the plus side, it looks like Go is heading for the Top 10.
When you hear that there’s a new Massive Attack song out, only to discover that Tom Waits is on it as well.
Fantastic PSB ‘Obscure’ gig at the Electric Ballroom last night. Johnny Marr turning up for a bit was a bonus as well.
Only managed to bag front row seats for Jarre in Amsterdam. I think the duet could be on.
Picked this up the other day for £4. Is it in bad nick? Yes, it’s scratched to hell, but I absolutely fucking love it.
It’s taken quite a while (and cost a bit) but I’ve finally managed to get hold of a banging copy of one of THE best ever g/hits albums.
The briefest of visits to London to see Caribou at Outernet. Obviously if I’d have planned my train travel better I’d have got to see the end of the gig.
Swapped a day off and popped up to Newcastle to finally get myself a vinyl copy of this magnificent bastard.
Basically me, at work for the last 4 days, knowing there’s another 4 weeks of it to go.
