Our peonies have bloomed. They are spectacular this year.

Earlier today I was in my backyard & saw this cloud colored in a rainbow pattern. There hadn’t been any rain & there was no actual rainbow. Pretty cool! It was even more colorful with my polarized sunglasses on.

My uncle Gus would be disgusted if he knew he fought for the corruption we have going on now. I’m told that he was a driver for General Patton & was involved in the Battle of the Bulge. He came back with what was then called shell shock & is now called PTSD.

I could never imagine growing asparagus. We tried broccoli 2 years ago for the first time. It grew, but we didn’t harvest it timely. Usually we do tomatoes & cukes. It’s no where near time to plant yet here. We still have a little snow on the ground. I took a picture of one piece of our broccoli.
