I got a nice looking Sigma C64 non-working. I discovered the PLA enabled all chips at the same time! The bus contention made chips really hot! I bought a replacement PLA and I had to change all the RAM chips for BASIC to work. Also repaired some broken lines for cartridge. #retro #retrogaming #c64

Cellphones from India for Mexico and someone supplies this cheap adapter. It works, but the metal softens along time and starts to deviate to the side and this happens. Lots of sparks, and it will blow your fuses. If you get one make sure it has retention pads at the top to avoid side movement.

I always wanted an #Atari 600XL, I got one in bad shape and shipping broke a corner. I cleaned it, and I got a black screen. Replaced DRAM and 74LS158, I got a BASIC screen for few secs. Testing cartridges I discovered it behaved better. I inserted DKJR 20 times and solved! #retro #retrogaming

I disassembled the Atari 130XE keyboard. Can you see the broken lines? I got conductive adhesive from Amazon (very difficult to manage!) made a very botched repair, put the hair dryer, and corrected glued lines scratching with a screwdriver. It works! #retro #retrogaming #atari
