Today was a tough tama day, as Tilly’s baby sobbed alone on screen until just before 5 when I got out of work, then had a brief but intense infancy before becoming a marshmallow toddler…and then the battery died.

Miss Posey has become an apple-type tama teen! Tilly is still hanging out with her baby, so she’ll probably leave at midnight while he’s asleep, like Marty did. So tomorrow will be infant tamagotchi trauma day, as is tradition.

For anyone curious if a ‘married’ tama can still go visiting in the time when they have their baby present, the answer is yes! Tilly dropped off a set of spare wings to Posey, first daughter of House Cherry Jubiliee.

Tilly jumped on that marriage train at the first chance she got, and has paired up with Androchi. They are the proud parents of a baby boy, who will receive his House Ink Blot Test name tomorrow, once Tilly has left to join her love in wherever grown up tamagotchis go to avoid being parents.

Ok, so she did evolve into a meh care character. But I can’t be mad, because she’s freaking adorable!

A couple of thoughts on the Connection vs the traditional units: A love the animations that come with the connection. How the sprite will randomly ‘sing’ or dance or run a stretch of hurdles as its idle animation. Before bedtime, Pyonkotchi takes a bath. Overall, it’s a very charming experience.

And Marty evolved into the closest thing tamagotchi has to a pikachu - the hamster-type Pyonkotchi.

Yesterday was a big day for both my tamas. Starting with the Paradise, we went from blob, to glide kid, glide young, and eventually all the way up to an Irukatchi with pink cheeks. Just look at how adorably they sleep!! 🥰

Marty has evolved into a bigger marshmallow, with an Elvis-esque cow lick. So naturally, today he learns about how paying for social services via ‘donations’ to the tamagotchi government is a good thing. Behold, the waste management tamagotchi NPC!
