London E17. Episcopalian who's over here. Work in Legal Tech and love my job. Practical theology, liturgy, inclusive church. Julian of Norwich always. 🏳️🌈 with 🏳️⚧️ (she/her)
We got to see the eclipse safely through a human-made pinhole and through the cool pinhole projections the leaves made on a house 😎
I find it strangely touching the way Chichester and Norwich cathedrals (on recent visits) look and feel unified with the parched land around them. Like they are really here with us in all this - and always were. Comforting solidarity. ⚓ #CofEPeeps
The dahlias have been valiantly beautiful in the intense sunlight this summer 💛
Great to be with a bunch of friends from Waltham Forest churches at the massive Together Alliance anti-far right march in London today. Christian bloc representing! 💪🏼 🌈 ⚓
I'm so ready for autumn! And everywhere I looked this weekend, Lewes seemed ready too! 😍
Big weekend for us at St Mary's Walthamstow! Loads of volunteers at our gazebo at Waltham Forest Pride shared with 4 other local inclusive churches - and tomorrow our first ever Pride Eucharist. Creating liturgy is my favourite thing, and I was delighted to help put the service together 🏳️🌈 🏳️⚧️ 🌈
We just had Red Arrows flying over and scaring me to death in the quiet City! And I got these amazing shots of the display 😂
Gorgeous St Mary's 9AM service on Mothering Sunday led by @vanessaconant.bsky.social. Every single person gets flowers, and that is always such a beautiful thing 💐 #InclusiveChurch
The beauty of the new fruit and veg shop in our neighborhood - wow! Makes me feel European! #Walthamstow
Great tree in the churchyard of St Bartholomew the Great on a crisp day 💙 #TinyJoys
Our beautiful morning view in St Ives. Surfers are already out under the huge moon.
Always loved the light in Cheapside. Beautiful day in these old stomping grounds and our even older ones at Barts 💙
The best season is here! #Advent These St Eval candles from St Ives were an investment last year, and I bought them for colour and size, but they smell fantastic. Gaudete pink is rhubarb and the dark purple ones are woody "oak" ✝️ ⚓
Haha, pretty sure it will be! Have already grabbed it and found it helpful when processing a loved one's difficult diagnosis: the chapter 'Waiting to Live?' was just what I needed 💙🕯️
Seems like the sky is often white these days, but there are some glorious autumn trees in Walthamstow right now - plus a little Charlie Brown one that gave me comfort at St Bartholomew the Less. Autumn Tree the Less! 🥰
The lovely - and sustainable! 💚 - Depot cinema in Lewes is all set to welcome #WOFFF24 tomorrow. Can't wait! So proud to have been involved with the festival for 10 years, and this year will be the best yet!
I think I have several, including St Ives, and definitely Gladstone's Library 📚
Bluesky now has over 10 million users, and I was #1,274,244! But what really made a difference was deleting my Twitter account a few weeks ago and jumping in with both feet. Felt very freeing 🦋
We saw Jodie Comer in Prima Facie tonight - re-release of the the NT Live recording. Absolutely stunning. What a genius she is! I love it when a cinema audience applauds.
