"Originally the engine section was also a complex gimballed affair because when turning a large centrifugal mass the turning thrust axis is not intuitive. For example if the centrifuge is rotating clockwise, to turn the ship to port then the thrusters should be pointing down thrusting upwards. I explained this to the guys and they looked at me like I had two heads. I think it was Ronny who said 'Look, just stick some big engines on the back and walk away'. We were under a time crunch as always and that's just what I did. (Nobody asked me where the fuel was kept either :). The inspiration for the eventual engine design was WWII pulse jet engines"

Yeah, probably. It was huge in the Marine Scout Sniper divisions up until a few years ago. Lots of people went through the training ignorant of the darker history behind those symbols were, or rationalizing why it was okay to use in this context. I can easily see a black marine getting that tattoo

A bit of pedantry here - RADAR is an active system so gaydar wouldn't be silent in a signals sense. You would need a gaydio reciever or gaydrophone – ideally both – if you wanted silent gay running.

I've seen other sources simply say "through the front." Which this could accurately describe. I think we're going to need more photos or footage of this side of the church before making a firm call on this.

Fucks. A large part of it is because I love the action on this thing. Rather than the hammer being behind the round and reset by the exhaust, its in front and reset by the round pushing it back into place.

It is separated into four sections, with simplified drawings

The first section depicts two bullets stacked on top of each other in the magazine. The hammer is locked forward and down in front of the bullets. A Red block representing the firing pin sits behind the top bullet.

The second section depicts the hammer striking the top bullet and pushing it back into the firing pin. The primer in the bullet is depicted as red to indicate it has been activated.

The third section shows the activated bullet flying forward, with a little jet out the back. It is pushing the hammer back down.

The fourth and final section shows the activated bullet almost clear of the hammer which is now back in its cocked. The second round is now in position to fire.

An attempt to diagram the various factors and connections going into the stability of Afghanistan and their relationship to each other. It is an absolute rats nest of overlapping arrows and colored labels.

Hey, this is fake. Someone took the sketch from the epstine letter and pasted it on a bunch of other letters. Look at how the sketch is much sharper, and a much deeper black than the underlying text. Spreading stuff like this undermines the credibility of the original documents.
