I love video games.
I honestly had no idea this game existed. There were a few other Zill O'll games released only in Japan that I knew about but this is the only one that got released outside of Japan and I had no clue lol
Sony used to fund and publish so many games back in the day. They put their money behind a ton of small weird projects and lots of them never even made it out of Japan. And these are just the ones that I own. There are countless more.
Not front covers but the spines of the Ys games on PSP do something similar.
One of the coolest things about Rhythm Heaven that I've always brought up when talking about it was that you can totally play the game with your eyes closed or even if you have a vision disability. Well, in Rhythm Heaven Groove they added a mode that completely removes the visuals! So awesome!
I perfected every song in Rhythm Heaven Groove. I love this game. I hear there's even BETTER perfects you can get too. I'll be playing this for a while loo
The fact that the first social media post from Playstation after announcing they're getting rid of physical discs is a about a fight stick with the slogan "Always Ready for the Fight" is so idiotic. They are not ready for the fight.
9. Rhythm Heaven Groove Rhythm Heaven is one of my all time favorite franchises and this one doesn't disappoint. Lots of content, cool multiplayer modes and all for a budget price. I just don't think it hits the highs of Rhythm Heaven Fever on Wii but that's ok. (9/10)
Been seeing tons of posts showing off people's physical game collections after yesterday. There are tons of us out there that want physical media.
I will embrace physical releases as long as I can starting with one of Nintendo's best and most consistent game franchises. I cannot wait to play Rhythm Heaven Groove.
I am back from Too Many Games and I had an amazing time seeing so many wonderful friends and chatting with lots of amazing folks. Glad to be back home and resting though now. Here's what I picked up.
8. Vampire Crawlers Hit credits on this last night and I like it more than Vampire Survivors. Feels so good to get a good deck going. It didn't feel like the different crawlers made a huge difference though. (8/10)
Happy to have finally been able to pick this up physically. Tango Gameworks deserved better for Hi-Fi Rush.
I had an empty spot in my glass shelf so I filled it with all of @magmia.bsky.social's favorite games ☺️
I think that's just the way he does it. Holds his finger up while doing it.
Is it normal for my little dumb idiot to have never had a hairball or throw up in nearly two years?
We've seen like two seconds of young Link in OoT and I understand being hesitant about the art style but it's also funny to me how much negativity there is based off just that (Nintendo's fault btw for not showing enough). I remember a time when people were losing their minds (positively) over this:
I of course got it for the exclusive Rayman Legends Challenge app where I destroyed @antdude.bsky.social before ever even knowing who he was.
7. Pictonico! I bought both volumes of micro games and this is 100% just WarioWare. It's good fun and very funny. It's just missing a lot of the extra unlockable stuff that usually makes WarioWare games fun to keep playing. Still fun for quick sessions when you're bored. Price a lil high too (7/10)
6. Yoshi and the Mysterious Book I just can't believe how many ideas are packed into one game. I hit credits and have so much more to do. I had some expectations for this game but it exceeded them. My second or third favorite Yoshi game pretty easily and a goty contender for me too. (9/10)
