Been watching Smallville for the first time and look who just showed up looking very young! The future Captain Pike...
I'd love to hear your favourite episodes, moments, characters, anything. I want to make that episode a real celebration of 60 years of Star Trek. Let's put the negative to one side and celebrate the good times. After all, it's been a long road... Please send your recordings to myself via DM.
I invite everyone who has ever guested on Make It So, former presenters and friends of the show to share your favourite memories of Star Trek from the 60 year run. If you could record your own memories and send it to me, I will then put them together into a special episode for September.
For Star Trek fans we are approaching the 60 year anniversary of the airing of the very first episode - 'The Man Trap'. It aired back on 8th September 1966 (or 6th September if you're Canadian!).
What game flop did you love and think that more people should know about? In fact, I may go back and replay this one. #QuantumBreak
I see what you did there... Oh and dammit! I guess I'm buying this then...
As anyone whoever has watched Only Connect knows, the 3rd place play-off is always better.
So I ended up watching The Vulcan Hello and Battle at the Binary Stars last night. It's quite shocking just how bleak the cliffhanger is as Michael is sentenced to spend the rest of her life behind bars as a traitor. Captain Georgiou has died, and the Shenzhou is left adrift and badly damaged.
Started a Kurtzman-era rewatch of Star Trek. There are many episodes of this era I've only seen once but with a possible long gap to whatever the next era of Star Trek is, I thought I'd give the entire run a rewatch. Here goes then - Disco 1.01 - The Vulcan Hello.
Great shout actually. And it made me think that maybe Spectre of the Gun could also work with its minimalist set design.
What Star Trek episodes would work best on stage? The stage show would have to be as close to the episode as possible.
My answer is very silly but I'd love to see the Thunderbirds F.A.B. stage show that was in the UK back in 1989. Doesn't it look completely wild and insane?
Absolutely - this was a photo I had with Wendy Padbury two years ago as Fraser Hines decided to photobomb the shot.

However my favourite thing about Snetterton WAS the Scary Tree. Sadly Storm Ciara destroyed it back in 2020.
Well in that case, you're after the pre-2010 layout...
You think that's funny! Take a look at this track map of Snetterton and wonder at the final corner that I only ever heard commentators say for the longest time. No Geoff... it's not Bumhole.
Interestingly, the only (real) circuit there that hasn't changed much is Brands Hatch. They did add a chicane at Dingle Dell but that was later removed, but other than a few reprofiled corners at Graham Hill Bend, Westfield and Dingle Dell, it seems fairly similar.
Apparently you can find an Enterprise season 4 episode here. (Track through the letters making sure you hit all the white tiles). It's the last one on this board but for the life of me I can't work out what any decent season 4 episode would be.
I've created a new Star Trek rewatch method. It's not production release, or chronological, or alphabetical. It's proportional. I've also put some shows together - I've put the TNG movies and Picard with the TNG run, the Short Treks with their shows. It starts like this...
