the drawings that need to look like drawings are starting to look like drawings

seven figures are dancing and moshing while someone crowdsurfs overhead. the crowdsurfer is holding a mic and has one leg kicked up in the air with a moccasin on. all of the figures have northwest coast formline designs incorporated on their faces and on their clothing.

ten figures are crowded at the front of a stage while a fat drag queen with one hand on her hip and the other resting dramatically on her forehead performs. The hand pressed against her head is holding two eagle feathers. she is wearing a corset that says "fuck the RCMP" and "trust your sisters". on each side of her is a figure holding a paddle in their hands. it looks like a choreographed motion.

Vancouver, when the food delivery robots arrive:

Illustrated poster the 1986 film Chopping Mall. The colours and lighting are in high contrast in vibrant hues. Taking up a majority of the image is a large, blockish silver robot wheels wrapped by continuous tread. We are looking at it as though it is descending upon us, exaggerating its true size. It has a flat, disc-like head with a red visor. There is a sinister glint on visor. It has two robotic arms and in the claw of one is a bloody severed arm. Below the robot is the figure of a fallen person with blonde hair, facing back and holding dynamite in their hands. They are in the path of the robot and sure to be run down. There are large tarantulas scattered over the person and in the background there is someone mid-run who has had their head exploded off of them by a neon pink laser emanating from the visor of another robot. Small architectural details around the edges paint the setting as a mall. A ghostly face screams against the dark blue background.

a cat is sitting in a circular, flexible, felted cat bed. he is backlit by a bright light so that you can only see the outline of one but unmistakable cat ear and his eyes glowing in response to the camera flash.

Doing okay, it's been hard coming home and having Gooz run to the door very excitedly and then losing interest when he sees that I'm the only one coming home. Appreciating everyone meeting me in the afternoons and making sure I do leave the house instead of bed rotting.

My sweet boy Grumble passed away yesterday morning. I don't really understand what happened and am so shocked. He was recovering so well, had been to a check-up that morning for his teeth but something else must have been going on. I'm so upset I didn't catch it sooner.
