Initial thoughts were some kind of ‘candle’ holder or early equivalent? Note the three holes on one side, but two on the other. Any thoughts?

How poorly written and researched is that article! 🫣 The structure itself doesn’t even seem to be as wood henge-y as the Woodhenge a mile or so from Stonehenge or the Durrington or Stanton Drew ones.

Some people celebrate the start of holiday season right about now. I celebrate ‘my Skoda sat nav and entertainment system going rogue and working independently’ season. 2/3 months of the year where there are no rules, no control, no actual usable features. This is a tame start to the season.
