What painting, photograph, sculpture, or piece of visual art has stayed with you long after you first saw it? Not necessarily your favourite. The one that lingered. Nighthawks by artist Edward Hopper. I was lucky enough to see it when it was in London a number of years ago now.
Spent the afternoon over at Guy's place for an American War of Independence game, Eutaw Springs - 8th September 1781. Mainly Perry miniatures using British Grenadier ruleset. A solid British victory, shame I was on the American side. #Wargaming

Been away for a few days and had the chance to visit the Towton battlefield. Should have had D. Grummitt's book with me, could have visited the other two battlefields.
I appreciate that your airbrush may be different but have you ensured that there's no paint in the back or hole of Part No. 2? Or it's equivalent.

Calling this one done. Emhar (ex-Frog) Yak-3. Yellow 15, Baltic, 1944. Decals couldn't have been more different than the last build. These were stiff as a board. Paints mainly Vallejo Model Air. Quick build before I start on my #BastilleBuild on Friday. Next one will be better. #HistScaleModels

Calling this one done. Xtrakit (ex-Matchbox) Gloster Meteor NF 14. 64 Squadron, RAF Duxford, 1958. Build was a fight and the decals very fragile. I've defo built better. First time I've used Hataka paints. I like them. Next one will be better. #HistScaleModels

I've done that plenty of times. 😁 Hobby Boss Easy Assembly kits are great for getting something together that let's you crack on with painting them. This is one I did.

Away for a week on the Lincolnshire coast. Popped out this morning to have a look at the Tank on the Beach. Believed to be a Comet. No one seems to know how it got here. It is very close to Donna Nook Air Weapons Range. Perhaps a connection?
