measuring the ride height, change is a less dramatic 5-6mm. Still substantial.
This is an image of the Mercedes at spa in straight line mode and corner mode. The downforce compresses the car by 40mm. Also look at the angle. The wing is flexing backwards closing the endplate gap more.
@dieworkwear.bsky.social Can you comment on why this casualwear works well. Like its not your standard t-shirt and jeans because of reasons...
I don't think that the rear wing and mid wing would interact much. It may clean the air up around this corner. I don't think it will have any adverse interactions.
These fwings are getting interesting fast. The underside have strakes to build rotation into the inwash caused by the wing elements. A raised leading edge is followed by a closing tunnel, increasing the pressure delta under the footplate powering these strakes. This rotation likely merges dstream
it has to do with coherence. Does the things relate to the other things. Like, is that chair just there and does it look lonely.
Huh, old model in yaw. Surprises are good, but really ruins a video release timeline.
outwash on the old reg was substantial. Tweaked the floor fences with a compound curve and tried to shed the vortex later, which worked. All the vortex structures end up combining in the diffuser. Now how will this work in yaw???
Pretty pleased with the new model. Finding structures that I would want where I would want. Surprised how sideways the flow is behind the floors leading edge. Floor edge is really interesting.
