Slight updates/downgrades made to westside COG bus lanes. They’re also prepping criteria for evaluation on measure m’s decennial review, noting that revenues are lower than anticipated, which will certainly mean no new projects added, not that that was ever expected.
For the eastside extension, NEPA is done, so they’re able to go out for federal grants that they will not be getting. They also chose the MSF site, which is significantly smaller and presumably much cheaper than the huge FEIR site.
In planning, design is moving forward for the Pacoima metrolink station that was selected to replace phase 2 of the ESFV line. It will include restrooms, so that’s nice.

NoHo/Pas should, however, NOT be a straight-conversion of the single BRT line (which the feasibility study for a rail conversion, currently underway, is looking at). It should actually be cannibalized into THREE different lines, all of them extensions of will-be-existing lines.
This project notably has some of the highest potential ridership as a rail conversion. If we were starting from scratch I would even prioritize getting this converted to rail OVER the current G Line BRT (but don’t worry valley residents, that’s already locked into Measure M so we’re not).
