This would be (I believe) the second video game on the cover of the legendary horror mag. This was the first from 2010.
This one is one of the first things you see when you walk into my house and I have no regrets.
Only playing games now that have key art of a man leaning their head back in agony. Please advise on others.
Technically one of these was an 8 episode one-off series, so like... an eight hour movie? Related, Haley Z Boston is super great work and one to keep watching. Brand New Cherry Flavor was also wild and I loved it. Can't wait to see what she does next.
I also think @hollywood-animal.bsky.social Eternal Life of Goldman is stunning in action.
I’ll start: I really like the high contrast stuff @2dchaos.com is doing with Nechromia.
My expense reporting app texted me to submit a receipt for an expense and I accidentally replied with this picture of my cat. Gonna be a good GDC.
I haven't played much, but the intro to Romeo is a Dead Man is bat shit crazy and I'm here for it. Then you get to the difficult selection screen and, of course, it's this:
It’s big day for eye strain and headaches! Excited to strap in… has Virtual Boy even launched on NSO yet?
I hope all of the video game industry people out there had a great DICE and are taking the time to recover. 😴
I know a lot of things are terrible right now, but there's a dog wearing sunglasses at DICE.
Also, working on these games was weird/surreal sometimes in a way that didn’t make any sense. Everyone who did probably has some strange story to tell, like that one time I came into the office on the weekend to set up a buggy pre-release build of 4 so big Rock Band fan Seth Rollins could play.
Okay, so like... we got this postcard advertising this "business" in the physical mail today. It's a real thing I am holding. That someone put a stamp on and sent to our house.
Fairly confident this not the same game or from the developer who made *checks notes* Schedule I Guess we can just do this now? Anyone wanna work with me to launch my completely original co-op climbing game Peek on PSN?
(Everyone knew. I got this bootleg shirt on the street and yeah that’s rhinestones.)
