According to the Washington Post, this Reuters photo of a woman on the Metro is Bernita Bowlding surrounded by Patriot Front white males. Bernita is a 33-year old mother of two. She was taking the train to Silver Spring, MD. Paul Bowlding is her sibling who saw the photo on Instagram that day.

Local news here in DC gave a schedule? 9:45 PM on the 4th of July the president will be speaking on the National Mall so they have security checks opening and closing at 1 PM and 6 PM. 😔

The physical version here in DC is much better than the online option. Groups of people, including National Guard, caught me at one of the machines. It is free, just press the yellow button at the War Memorial. It reminded me of some rather old arcade machine.

Gas station has prices that keep cars away here on rt 7 in northern Virginia. I got a photo Monday morning around 6:30 on my walk to Walmart with my backpack.
