Years ago I planted some common yarrow (achillea millefolium) under fruit trees. It immediately got mowed over / disappeared. It's no longer where I put it.... but it spread absolutely.everywhere.else

Our cherry trees are starting to bloom in eastern Canada! It's a tough climate (3b/4a) but they are Evans Sour Cherry, a cultivar possibly from Alaska or Minnesota so cold hardy and they thrive in the short growing season.
We've got a well-rotted wood retaining wall and this little fella spent 15 minutes scootching along it to get scritches (and presumably knock off some ticks and fleas)
