Here's some data George just posted, that demonstrates what I was about to post. Canadians are used to being cool, so don't like the heat and crank the A/C. Europeans would find our summer indoor temps freezing.

In the UK (and Aus), this is central heating and hot water combined. They even mount them outside, because why not! My hot water-only system is bigger! (colder incoming water) Eventually they will transition to renewables and heat pumps, but for what they need, gas is cheaper at home.

A square-timber house, built in 2 sections forming an L, with a hip (barn) roof. Gable section has a 2nd story patio door, no balcony, and ground floor picture window, long section to the right has a ground floor patio door, no deck, and 2 upper floor windows peaking out of the roof. Everything is covered in masses of snow.

Based on Financial Statements, doesn't look like they're paying anybody much of anything (a few thousand per quarterly meeting maybe...) It's all about optics while they try to raise capital.

Missing the weekend.....

Two VW Westys set up for camping, 90 degrees to each other, one light blue Vanagon, the other a more Robin's egg bay window bus, both with roofs up, and an awning outside the former. Cool fancy kit. Much more posh than my first hifi purchase, a Realistic Clarinette 114. (lame) Predated CD by a few years. Somehow misplaced it during my uni years, I have no idea now......
