Four Seasons as Body Parts Spring as lips that’ve just been kissed Summer, a hot hand on your hip Autumn as nipples that twist under jumpers Winter, cold fingers creeping in

Horror girl summer 💀 Thank you @cymerafestival.co.uk for including “The Second Amen” in your longlist!
Throughout Fosse’s “Morning And Evening” I was struck by the beautiful banality of a life. The language and structure was a challenge throughout, a delightful unfolding of a gentle mystery unfolding into the icy sea’s lapping waves.
As a woman it’s difficult to contemplate being a mother when the great burden of reality is that we’re never complete in our understanding of ourselves. Cusk’s raw and rabid accounts of her daughter’s infancy remind me of my own mother’s honest, sometimes cruel, accounts of my own earliest days 💙📚
Carl Sagan’s ‘Pale Blue Dot’ has been my bible since it was given to me in the final years of my teens. As I wander through Samantha Harvey’s ‘Orbital,’ I have to thank the universe and an incredible mind for a new iteration of feeling and sentiment as I wind down my twenties 🌏🛰️
Very proud to have survived the windy city and graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an MSc in Creative Writing 💨 🎓
