What she’s eventually realizing that her entire life has driven toward making other people happy. Sato opened her eyes. It’s wonderful.
It’s literally not until someone willing to break the social order and norm of things (and Sato has been a character that has been labeled as “weird” or “off putting” or “not friendly” because of this by Hinako’s friends) that Hinako even realizes that there’s multiple paths to being happy.
To basically restate my thesis from the podcast, it really captures this societal pressure (for Hinako, from her mom and her coworkers, that’s been internalized to also be from herself) to find a man, marry, have kids, and live the idealistic happy life.
Doesn’t Hol Horse know that Dio is a maneater? He better watch out, or he’ll be chewed up.
