At last, I can share with you all my 'fan art' entry for @theineffablecon.bsky.social 7 zine... "The Universe Tree" 🌳🔮

Tiny crochet Crowley and Aziraphale stand either side of the (tiny crochet) Tree of Life which stands inside the bookshop that was the whole world and is also somehow a garden. The floorboards are overgrown with grass in parts and there are little blue flowers and shrubbery here and there. The walls are the yellow of the bookshop, but behind them and the tree there's a window and doors that look suspiciously like those of a certain South Downs cottage, both lit from within. Aziraphale is peeking out from behind the tree while Crowley peers across at him from the other side. On the trunk are carved the initials A & C inside a heart.

On Friday morning, my most darling little companion of fifteen years went missing. He's in stupidly good health for his age, but in this heat I'm losing hope that he can possibly be okay. Could everybody please spare a hopeful thought for Ambrose. Please believe that he can come home safe to me. 💔

I don't think I properly realised until I turned to this page that, as well as my brain failing to focus on reading, I've become increasingly anxious over finding stories that will welcome me in. 'Would THIS author hate me for existing?' always there at the back of my mind. And then there's this. 🖤

It's been 6yrs since I could focus my brain enough to read an actual book. I devoured books daily all my life & the fact I just... lost the ability to read somehow has been wretched. But I managed to get this far over the past couple of weeks & I know it looks like nothing, but it feels like hope. 💛
