My mother survived walking through Hiroshima the day after as a 13 year old, so I have a fair idea of what a nuclear holocaust looks and feels like 🇯🇵 🇳🇿
I have this pillbox I bought at Daiso (decorated with a @pepperraccoon.com sticker!), labelled each day, and have some spares in reserve if case I get caught out. It’s been a lifesaver as I was getting to the point of not knowing if I’d taken my meds or not
Winter grub now washed off! Makes it easy when the temperature is 18°C 🙌 🚗 🧼
I’d felt like scoffing a fish pie for ages. Wonky Box delivered up potatoes, swede + leek, so I adapted a Jamie Oliver recipe, put tatties & neeps on top of a tin of smoked fish & I’m renaming it my Sam Neil Fish Pie in honour of one of our best x
Just found out today that Volume 2 of Folk Remedy written by my exceptionally talented niece @jemyoshioka.bsky.social is available for pre-purchase. If you read the first one, you’ll definitely want the second one!! www.simonandschuster.com.au/books/Folk-R...
It’s super dangerous stuff that keeps floating around at sea causing a hazard for everyone. This photo was taken after Cyclone Gabrielle & after some of the beach had been cleared
I had something like this in mind with colours relevant to your province #nzpol
Not betraying motorsport by watching the footie in the Speedway Garage 😁🚗💨🏁⏱️🏉
Still a bit chilly but set to be a stunner of a day at Manfeild! 🚗💨🏁⏱️🙌
Here’s a shot I took of Martin at the end of 2015 at the Otago Museum. His music is such a big part of my first instalment of university days. Much love to you Sara xxx
Just giving NZ motorsport some love over sportsball from the weekend, but SVG took out @nascar.com and Liam again in the points at @f1tv.bsky.social Austria 🏎️💨🏁🙌
Some myth-busting about NZ Superannuation #nzpol Can be found at assets.retirement.govt.nz/public/Uploa...
Blew my mind!! So glad I chose to wear one of my favourite tee-shirts today ✊
Loved hearing Cushla 😍😍😍 and soooo looking forward to working alongside her team as well as with Ahuriri/Napier this year!! Together we are so much stronger!! 🙌🙌🙌
Enjoying the luxury that is good local public transport on the weekend 🙌😎. Also very nice not to have to pay for parking or dodge trucks that are really too wide for the road 🚊
In January, I asked if people would help me pay to study a paper at Te Herenga Waka Victoria University & so many of you helped me out. I'm super-pleased to tell you I passed with an A-! I loved it! I had the best lecturer & learned so much despite the chaos at home. Thank you for your kindness!🙏❤️
There are pink ones here too, but the brightly coloured ones are at their prime right now 😊
There’s a wee garden at the front of the house that, over the years, has homed cactus, passionfruit and what’s we’ve called Mum’s miniature roses. When I was little, Mum used to make up a tiny bunch wrapped in tissue for me to give to my primary school teachers
True. And Cleaver, holy shit, talk about fucking bending the truth to fit a narrative 🤬 #nzpol
Enjoyed some time out at the facility where I volunteer where our work was celebrated & it made me realise how much success for some relies on us supporting each other ❤️ #TeWikiTuaoa-Motu #NationalVolunteerWeek2026
Stanford is a liar. An insulting liar at that. We have plenty of extremely capable people able to compare our curriculum against those of other countries. How dare she! #nzpol
