Not silver but the one on the left was my mom’s from her youth in the 1930s and the one on the right I bought at a St Vinnie’s probably 45 years ago. I cherish them both. Though once in awhile I get the urge to clear everything extra out of my house bc I get a titch claustrophobic from it all.
I used to have a cat who slept at the top of my pillow & soothed herself by licking my hair. It was cute when she was a kitten & super irritating when she got to be a 14 lb adult cat. Our kids called Taffy “the feline hairdresser”. I cut my long hair off to combat getting my hair pulled every night.
Belle is now at least 1 pound lighter after a much needed thorough brushing
My husband is lactose intolerant so anytime I break down and buy some ice cream I can just eat it out of the carton with a spoon bc I know that it is all MEEEEEEE! 🥳

Happy #Caturday from my beloved grandcat Moosers. She is experiencing multiple health issues rn & we are all worried about her. Her people—my son & daughter-in-law—are so good at taking care of old critters & that is how she has made it to the ripe old age of ~19. They will know when it’s time. 😔

Our sweet girl lived until she was almost 21. We called her our Energizer Bunny Cat bc she just kept going & going. I finally had to make the difficult decision to have her euthanized bc she could no longer see or smell very well & had to be enticed to eat. Lucy was a sweetheart to the very end.

Such a handsome beast! He/she looks a little like a floofy version of one of my grandcats. This is Momo—the sweetest, dumbest little meatloaf I know.
So is your baby. All cats are pretty amazing in my book. Here are my grandcats. The two black cats are Sebastian & Moosers. The orange & white goofball is Momo. Moosers is 17 & has a huge myxoma in her left front armpit which makes it hard for her to walk but she manages & is still stays so sweet.
