Went to clean out the pool skimmer (obvs it needed it) and found this enormous lady chilling upside down in a web she'd made to stay out of the water.
And there was merch! I'm way too young to have been there but I always show my American lit students this photo I took at a flea market in 2017 that answers the number one question people ask us Early Americanists: "What did Ben Franklin smell like?"
Saw the broadhead skink in the mulberry tree on campus again. Today it was using the trans flag rock as a cushion.
