It's interesting to me that we've always assumed asteroids would have distinct craters on them. And what we see is that sometimes they have no visible craters (Dimorphos) sometimes they're indistinct (Bennu, Arrokoth) and sometimes they're quite distinct (Ceres, Ida) Image from Wikipedia
