Richmond Lattimore's 1965 translation, in the 1975 edition. My first Iliad was the 1991 Penguin Classics edition of Fagles's translation, although I know Fagles better in the 1997 PC edition since it's what I had in college.

I disagree with my result, my dot is way too far to the right

On both graphs are colored areas: red (0-5 hot, 0-10 crazy) is the "no-go zone", lavender (roughly 0-1.5 crazy and 8-10 hot) is "unicorn", green (8-10 hot, 1.5-5 crazy) is "marriage". There's a diagonal line between regions from 5,5 to 10,10: an orange triangle at the top, toward the center, is "crazy zone"; a purple quadrilateral from 0-5 crazy on the left side, 0-7 crazy on the right side, and 5-8 hot is "fun zone", and a smaller blue quadrilateral from 5-8 crazy on the left side, 5-10 crazy on the right side, and 8-10 hot is the "date zone". It's a fidget, yeah. An earlier iteration of this design had a bearing in the clip, and people would fidget with it; the designers just took it to the logical next step.

I kept seeing people with their copies of @chanda.blacksky.app 's new book and thinking "when will my copy of _The Edge of Space-Time_ come home from the war?" I can finally come down off the widow's walk, it just arrived!

A hardcover copy of "The Edge of Space-Time" by Chanda Prescod-Weinstein, sitting on a pile of other books at the corner of my desk. You can also see the corner of my Hobonichi journal, a mermaid-themed composition book, and the ballot I have to complete and mail in. Also seen: a Micron pen and Statler mechanical pencil.

"Reply of the Zaporozhian Cossacks", by Ilya Repin. From Wikipedia:

Reply of the Zaporozhian Cossacks depicts a supposedly historical tableau, set in 1676, and based on the legend of Cossacks sending an insulting reply to an ultimatum from the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, Mehmed IV. According to the story, the Zaporozhian Cossacks (from "beyond the rapids", Ukrainian: za porohamy), inhabiting the lands around the lower Dnieper River in Ukraine, had defeated Ottoman Empire forces in battle. However, despite his army having suffered this loss to them, Mehmed demanded that the Cossacks submit to Ottoman rule. The Cossacks, led by Ivan Sirko, replied in a characteristic manner: they wrote a letter, replete with insults and profanities. The painting exhibits the Cossacks' pleasure at striving to come up with ever more base vulgarities.

The idea that the poor should have leisure has always been shocking to the rich. In England in the early nineteenth century fifteen hours was the ordinary day’s work for a man; children sometimes did as much, and very commonly did twelve hours a day. When meddlesome busy-bodies suggested that perhaps these hours were rather long, they were told that work kept adults from drink and children from mischief. When I was a child, shortly after urban working men had acquired the vote, certain public holidays were established by law, to the great indignation of the upper classes. I remember hearing an old Duchess say, “What do the poor want with holidays? they ought to work.” People nowadays are less frank, but the sentiment persists, and is the source of much economic confusion.
