Hot take: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is so, so much better than the first game. I gave the original about 10 hours, but I just couldn’t get on with how clunky and awkward it all felt. XC2 has hooked me almost immediately. Night and day.
A lot of people think the endgame of FFVII Rebirth is Hard Mode. They’re wrong. It’s the piano. 🎹💀
It's hot, I'm not thinking straight, and I've clearly lost all sense of self-preservation. Time to start a Hard Mode playthrough of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and finally go for that Platinum. Pray for me! 🗡️
Also, who's joining me? We've got over a year until Guild Wars 3 arrives - more than enough time to complete everything and build the ultimate Hall of Monuments 2.0 legacy.
It begins. No boosts, no build chasing. Just a class I'll hopefully love, jumping into whatever catches my eye along the way. No pressure. No expectations. Just vibes.
Fighting with Discord mods who are trying to defend the misogynistic and transphobic owner of a TCG store is the highlight of my night. Especially when they lose their shit and threaten to time people out. THE HORROR.
Finally done with Vampire Survivors! 🎉 Half my total playtime happened in the last week or so, trying to grind everything before I start on Vampire Crawlers. Worth every frustrating moment.
If you thought my Final Fantasy obsession was already insufferable, just wait until Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2026 kicks off this weekend. I will be unbearable. I will have opinions. I will inevitably be re-subbing so I can dive headfirst back into EVERYTHING
Late to the party, but yeah… Super Mario Wonder absolutely rules. No idea how I let this one slip the first time around. Also, we’re all collectively pretending the ending of this clip didn’t happen, okay?
Seriously, don’t even try and come for me on Mario Tennis Fever. I will destroy you.
You know what? I genuinely really like Highguard. Even more when my most recent end screen confirms I was the one that carried (kills-wise, at least - the game itself was horrendously close)
While my Nintendo 2025 in Review absolutely pales in comparison to some people’s, it still turns out I put way more time into the Switch 2 than I thought! Pretty sure I’ll beat those numbers this year on Animal Crossing alone… 🏝️
Still pushing on with my wonderfully chaotic new Animal Crossing island. Progress is being made, although somewhere out there another snowman has absolutely not survived the process ❄️🪦
Sure, Anthem was flawed, but flying through that world in a Javelin felt incredible in a way few games have managed since. It really felt like BioWare had captured something special.
2.5 hours of RNG pain, endless random battles, and level-ups… all to make *this* prick finally show up in Final Fantasy I. Gained 20 levels in the process and then completely bodied the series’ first ever “superboss.” Worth it. I think.
One week until the new Animal Crossing update (and Switch 2 edition!). Naturally, I’ve started a new island. Poor decisions only, 2026 edition.
Hardcore mode. Resident Evil 4 (2023). Live on stream right now and absolutely unprepared for what’s coming. Probably going to die IRL, I don't do scary. Come say hi! 👋 ➡️ twitch.tv/noodlesource
Happy birthday to the love of my life, @farleigh.bsky.social. Hope today is as amazing as you are — so lucky to get to celebrate you, not only for today, but every other day too 💕🎉
I haven’t decided to play through every mainline Final Fantasy this year. Absolutely not. This is definitely not a terrible idea that I’m already mentally committed to. That would be silly.
I’m just as game for having wonderfully detailed garden features as the next person, but I’m wondering how much is too much…
