The Polaris is based on the open source design by Zack Deis who helped us implement a few unique modifications. Available in a single speed version for very quiet operation or with PWM control allowing the use of very high speed fans. 2/3

Thanks for the suggestions. The interesting thing is that testing by Rob Wissman shows you can get away with having filters very close to a wall before you see a significant drop in performance. We don't use USB power, a 12v / 2amp supply is included.
It uses four Arctic P14 fans and two Ikea Starkvind filters. With an integrated handle, rubber feet and a wide footprint to prevent tipping. Ideal for smaller spaces or for hospital stays. I'll have it up on our website soon. 2/2
