Watching 'Mr Winkle Goes to War' (1944) starring Edward G. Robinson, Ruth Warrick and Robert Armstrong. Never seen this war comedy before, but Edward G is surely enough reason to give it a watch 😀📽

The amount of end of year gifts I received is actually ridiculous! Kids do my jobs for me then give me gifts to thank me!!! Crazy! This year it's been so hard to say goodbye to my lovely year 8 library monitors & some fabulous members of staff that I am so proud to call friends 🧡

My pass the parcel was going very well.....until one of the kids was convinced that a parcel contained an iPhone....because yes, my personal budget stretches that far! I think this photo better than most sums up mine & the child's reaction to them winning a pencil, a bookmark & a duck! ✏️🔖🦆 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just been to the Tyneside Cinema to watch this 1981 Ray Harryhausen classic on the big screen! Clash of the Titans is one of my all time favourites & such a treat to see it at the cinema 🎥

I socialised.....I lasted 35 minutes 🤣

Spending Sunday morning in the company of Melvyn Douglas and Joan Blondell in 'Good Girls go to Paris' (1939) Always enjoy this fun romantic comedy & who doesn't love these two together? 📽🥰

Tomorrow I am celebrating 'Alice in Wonderland Day' and in my library we will be having all sorts of fun & games including pass the parcel with a difference! When the music stops, you can only open the next layer if you follow the instruction given on top 🎁😃
