The animation in #AvatarAang was beyond gorgeous. The movie was action-packed, but nothing felt rushed. I love it when filmmakers want you to see every second of the work they’ve put in. Animation needs to breathe!

I hadn’t seen the Bebu episode of Choju Sentai Liveman (1988) since the first time I watched the LatAm Spanish dub in ~1992, and I would have sworn up and down that silvery helmet was a sea green. Also, zero memory of the horn on the back of the helmet. Memory is slippery.

One of my tiny dreams is to convince the world “though” should be abbreviated “dho”, not “tho”. Tee and the /θ/ sound in “think” are both unvoiced consonants. Dee and the /ð/ sound in “that” are both voiced consonants. “Dho” is consistent. “Tho” always makes me think of this alien sweetie pie.
