Torikizoku seems to be something of an unknown for western tourists. One of our go to places to eat & we'd regularly be the only foreigners there. Hilariously cheap. Mega Highballs all round!
Somewhat disappointed in myself for missing the 40th Birthday of my favourite film at the weekend 🤦
QOTD, what was the first racing game you ever played? Difficult to remember but highly likely it was Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge on the Amiga. Wasn't blessed with a console or anything until the mid 90's but a primary school mate was fortunate enough to have an Amiga.
We shall gloss over the price and my inability to read anything more than basic Japanese because these are cool.
Disclaimer: This sequence was filmed on a closed road, under controlled circumstances and with a professional driver. @antonyingram.bsky.social
A completely normal Friday night activity. Totally normal. Absolutely nothing weird about it.
Not mine but Richards. Jonny not wrong when he says it's the nicest one about.
Was expecting a significant drop over last month as half the miles were done w/ passenger+ 50kg of ballast in the boot and the rest I drove like a menace.
Curse you Sainsbury's. Curse you to heck. I only wanted a can of Rubicon Guava which you annoyingly didn't have.
Didn't take quite as many pictures as I thought, the usual problem with events like these. Lots of people and legs in the way. I believe the 250 GTO belongs to Nick Mason who is another regular at Heveningham.
Took the proper camera to Heveningham Concours. Not used it properly for ages, always such a faff and the phone camera is annoyingly good but it was nice to take a bit of time to get some decent pictures. Harry Metcalfe rocked up in his 930 Turbo S this year.
