@novazone
It's me, the dude from the YouTube channel that calls something kino at least twice a year. I've decided to present myself as 50% less hinged on this website.
Power surge at the cafe I'm playing at (neighbors constructing and I don't wanna be at home) caused my laptop to reset. Lost 1.5 hours of game progress... thankfully only 20ish mins of recording but I found so many mini medals in that time and I forgot where meaning I gotta recheck everything...
71) The Odyssey I liked it. If you need a bathroom spot, probably during this one storm scene with extremely fucking bright flashing lights. I had to look away because it was hurting my eyes. Show did start at 11PM so maybe I went in weak.
everytime I'm about to hit "stop recording", in every game I plae, I do have my characters face the front like I'm gonna do the HCBailley Let's Play "next time on [This Game NUMBER]" thing
Finished it, but rendering stopped midway meaning I gotta try again. I'll try to have it up for Patrons before I go to bed but no promises.
I've watched neither, but I think Old Clown Pomni and New Cat Pomni should get a Death Battle episode.
turned on star ocean 1 to get through the area I was stuck at. I've been in a dungeon with nothing left. After checking a guide. I see one of the party members told me I had to use flint on walls to blow them up. There is no way to rehear this dialogue so I stopped at the worst possible spot
And no girl ever wants to daaaaance With a fool who went and *crich* ripped his pants
Also been playing some DQ4 when I reach my editing quotas/two days ago when I just didn't feel like editing. So excited to get to this one. I've recruited almost the whole party. Just need Ragnar but the boss to get him is kind of a difficulty spike. Time to gamble :)
It's overall good that they're weening off the gacha games. BUT - Never did Before Crisis - EoS BEFORE 7 Revelation Are both wild things to go out on.
70) Jak & Daxter Felt like replaying after my friend got into speedrunning it. Still a pretty solid collectathon. In my head I had it that later levels weren't as solid as the start, but I think I'd kinda flip that.
I just reread the first volume the other day in my attempt to start over/catch up. I did manifest this.
If a DQ5HD2D happens, this means they can't advertise Bianca on all the promo material, with Nera consolation prized onto the disc
Hopped on call 30 mins later than planned yesterday because conveyer belt hot pot
Should finish writing today or maybe early tmr. I spent a while yesterday looking for a site with all of these bandai cards on it. I still didn't find one with all of it, but Mandarake had a lot listed individually.
69) Isekai Ojisan (Anime) It thrived when it focused on the cultural whiplash the uncle experienced not only from his 14 year coma, but also living that time in a fantasy world. His relationship with his adult nephew was great. But the last few episodes were almost all fantasy w/ little real world.
That shit is NOT in English. Like, the bare minimum menus are in english and even then not enough to understand the rules.
68) Deltarune Ch. 5 Aqua is the best. Not my favorite chapter, but I knew after chapter 4 that they'd need another breather one.
Watched footage of myself dicking around for so fucking long after this point, so I think this note should go around here (where I'm hovering).
DQ1 video releases on Weds. But this is a DQ2 video progress thread now: Note taking with footage. Funny how I compliment DQ1 for having no dialogue event flags, then DQ2 literally STARTS with a dialogue event flag quest
Video's done and on patreon as of yesterday. Now my friend is playing DQ1 so he needs to form his own opinion before the Youtuber changes it
I'm done with every note except for this minute long segment I left on hold because it's almost only requiring of pulling stuff from the internet and my internet was down that day. But I think I wanna go to bed. Been non-stop today and yesterday
67) MM Battle Network 5: Team Chud The most mixed I've felt in a BN game. A HUGE step up for combat compared to BN4. The characters are cool and the chip variety was nice. But much of the middle felt extremely formulaic besides the liberation missions. It doesn't have the freshness I felt with 1-3
Gonna try to beat Battle Network 5 real quick before editing. Just got the final area left. I think the friend and I have been trying to play together on call too much so it's taken way longer since our schedules haven't alligned as much. We're just gonna finish it seperately
A lot of later stuff in the series is cool to me, but I still follow this rule a lot when I rec the series.
