Earlier this month we expanded access of Patreon’s Commerce features to Adult/18+ creators, which includes the ability to have a Shop tab and monetize individual posts and Collections by offering one-time-purchases.

Once you combine your profiles, you’ll have immediate access to start publishing collaboration posts on Patreon with other creators who make work for Adult/18+ audiences.

Coming soon: Patreon Video and Quips
Access to additional features will be expanded for Adult/18+ creators later this year. Over the next few months, we’ll begin rolling out access to both Patreon Video and Quips at the same time. We’re particularly excited to finally bring Patreon Video to more creators, since it’s been one of the most requested features from our Adult creator community.

When Quips begin to roll out for Adult/18+ creators, at first they will be visible to your members only. We will share updates along the way as the Adult/18+ network becomes available. Creators who combine profiles ahead of June 30 will be prioritized in the expanded access of these features. We will send you an email to notify you when you will get access.

Part of being a responsible leader is refusing to do this shit to yourself. This is the only type of trickle-down economics corporations recognize - the insane crap that the guys at the top will do for productivity, which they in turn expect of everyone under them. This should never have been.

The biggest adjustment has been losing the “5th gear” I used to rely on—the 10 PM to 4 AM grind that powered books like Justice League and Suicide Squad. Now I cap drawing at 1 AM and force myself to work during the day on weekends, but those hours are only 25-40% as productive as my old late-night form. And then beating yourself up because you’re not delivery the speed and results you expect from yourself made drawing particularly frustrating and at my lowest moments-profoundly depressing.
