She has white goth boots, a futuristic gun, a winged backpack, a medic headdress, one mini underpauldron (until I build the other,) and a thigh pouch, all in white, grey, light indigo, and clear orange. She has glasses and a slight smile as she waves at us.

I don’t like quote thread, but I do like Sleazy, so I’ll do it. Worked on sanding the boots and first gun yesterday, put them together today, just for this.

Kotobukiya Megami Device 34: Desire Maiden Medic is a plamo girl. She has kind of a light indigo harlequin torso outfit, I haven’t done the side skirts yet. She has a very large chest that’s currently hidden behind a futuristic long gun. The base is dark grey, but it has white and light indigo curvy parts giving it a Mass Effect or whatever Mass Effect was cribbing from look, maybe 90s Optimistic Sci Fi But We’re Not Hippies We Still Need Guns? It has a rotating, uh, chamber? with an orange round in it. I haven’t yet built the 3 other 💉-looking parts that go in the clip on the side. There’s an orange sight on one of the tactical rails that are also used by the round pieces. I think it’s a very versatile piece design, but if I could mass-buy one sprue from this, it would be G, for Goth, because it has the buckly under the knee boots that can also be, uh, maybe mary janes? if you leave off the shin part. Okay they have laces, so not proper mary janes. Still, very cute. I haven’t added the clear indigo platforms, with or without hardpoints, yet. There’s also a whole other gun and mounting parts to put in on the backpack or stabilize it on her wrists. And the backpack is like white wings with little light indigo hinges for white pieces that hold three clear orange knives on each side, plus some more decorations in those colors. Oh yeah and she has clear glasses, and a little medic headdress ⛑️ with a heart and wings. Her hair is giant twintails in pink and purple, curved around, could maybe make a heart if you flipped them upside down? And lots of little strands coming off. I’ve mounted 1 thigh pouch and one, uh, under-pauldron? Just a lovely kit. If they don’t make more Desire Maidens, I’ll want more of this kit to part out to other friends. Raider is fine, with rideable 🦇 🪽 🎒, but I like futuristic guns, I have so many sword girls already (yes I want Magatsuki/Durga in most of the colorways and have two built already, fine.)

Okay I guess I have some options.

Megami Device Bulletin Knights lancer is a plastic model kit of a peach-skinned anime lady with a light grey skimpy bodysuit (the top is like the opposite of that stupid vgen picture, tremendous cleavage, honestly seems impossible for it to not show nipples if the existed, surrounded by fuller coverage and then the tummy is also out.) Her gloves are also grey, leggings are dark grey or black, heels are shiny pink with grey front/top pieces, gold thigh and upper arm bands, and hair in a different pink. Her green eyes have hearts in them and her expression is one of manic enthusiasm while she does her best Gendo hands (could be better but I need to get dressed for a date now that the tornado ears is over.) She’s sitting on a purple, green, and orange with grey and red details Evangelion Unit-01 (movie ver.) desk chair from the Evangelion Room set is a little weirdly shaped anyway. The armrests seem high and short, and the post is short, and it has 4 LEGS?!?!? you maniacs! I guess her elbows could go on the armrests, but her knees are at an acute angle, most girlpla are kinda leggy (the ones that are less so usually look a bit loli to me.)

Furyu’s Vocaloid Hatsune Miku (Flower Fairy Cosmos Purple Color Ver.) Noodle Stopper Figure is an inexpensive, static, Hatsune Miku perching figure. Her hair fades out to a light mint at the end and she’s wearing a purple dress. She’s decorated with purple and white flowers. I figured since she was already purple and green, I’d put her in the Evangelion Unit-01 Test Type (rebuild ver.) desk chair from the Evangelion Room, uhhh, like gashopon but boxes? And they let you buy a complete set, so not physical gacha. Anyway, she sits on it but the spread of the stiff skirt kind of floats her on top of the armrests.

Gonna tell my kids this was Gourai

The p-bandai (pronounced like it rhymes with tool ‘n die) exclusive 30MS SIS-Ac65n POWERARI=PALYTON (GRAVE FORM) is a plastic model of a robot girl with blue torso and leg armor, light blue hair, and a dark blue backpack with tank treads. I’ve never liked frame arms girl Gourai that much. She’s brown, she originally didn’t have much chest, and she has he gratuitous pantyshot, but she has none of the charm, blueness, or wings of Stylet to make up for it. I’m a Hresvelgr (ATER) main, but I still wanna build like every Magatsuki/Durga variant. I think Izumo Destroyer ver. is coming up soon for me, and I want the new Griefen. Looking forward to getting Kagutsuchi, hope they make Sniper, might go back to get Fencer someday. And low-vis swim Stylet. Sigh. So many to build, so little energy.

Goodwill had some frames, now I just need to decide where to nail my three cuties from @rideth-mochi.bsky.social When I moved in, I think I got three Eva prints (one for each level of the house,) so maybe I’ll do a similar strategy here.

Framed 16x20 (okay two of them are 20x16) prints from Rideth Mochi are in a stack on top of shipping boxes for plamo. The RX-0 Unit-03 Gundam Unicorn Phenex Narrative Ver Special Coating Ver Destroy Mode is a golden robot with shiny psychoframe on maybe the greener end of teal (looks like the awakening image ver over the default clear blue in the kits.) There’s also the Alex-78 and her lovely pilot, and you can see Hatsune Miku (but not her zaku) on the bottom. My light blue Oofos with the decorative laces sorta match what I previously thought of as desaturated mint pants. The grey of my Freezepop shirt looks lighter in this picture than in the light of the room I’m posting this from.

Posting was being funny yesterday at dinner, so today I’m belatedly presenting the Official Bandai 30 Official Minutes Label Builder’s Contest Official Third Place Winner (pending hat that says Champion): 30 Mutant Mixin aka White Monster

I couldn’t decide if I wanted to enter the 30MM contest because I don’t think of my modeling as contest-grade work. Day of I felt functional, so I went with my plan of “jam all the blue and white kits together.” Started with Provedel Command, a bigass white robot with a few clear blue bits, to which I had already attached the wings and rotors from the tilt rotor option parts kit. I took off the plane tail so I wouldn’t fully be cribbing from the instructions. First I added legs with skis from Roundnova II. I added the head from that kit hanging down under the dino mouth of the Provedel upside down on an armature, Glados-style. I got out the 30MS angel girl kit and added pearlescent angel wings. From the underwater girl kit I added her legs which look kinda propulsion-y and a shark mouth on the back. I added the legs of the white horse mecha to the robot legs in front and back of each one and the head coming down from a shoulder. The other shoulder had Roundnova II’s radar dish. I added the digital fairy wings to the back along with an angel wing center part before the shark head. I put a combo of either evil or chaser costume torso with underwear girl basic arms and legs and hair and angel girl face. Tried to add angel girl pearlescent head ornament but dropped it somewhere. 8 legs, 5 heads, 8 wings, 9 kits. Oh yeah from the energy weapons kit I made a huge double sided clear blue sword/scythe with a little clear blue energy pack, and added the other energy pack to Provedel’s gun. That sounds like everything. 3/6 baybeeee! Defeated two adults and a child, just barely.
