Research by Women Insight on China (WiCH) initiative found that in hundreds of events and podcast episodes relating to China organized by European think tanks, nearly 45 pct were "manels" (all-male panels), another 16 pct only had a female moderator. Almost 2/3s of podcast guests and hosts were men.
