It's a "eat for after-work breakfast three slices of chocolate cake because either wise it'll go bad and I'll need to throw them out" sort of day.

Had a second run-in with a skunk between my door and car when leaving for work. It thankfully went further up the sidewalk rather than under my car, but it had a "oh shit" look at me before scurrying away.

New glasses are waaay too high on my face, even after adjusting the little pads. It's crazy how much firmer and larger the metal arms connecting the nosepads to the frame are by comparison to my old pair. Waiting on customer support from Zenni optical; probably will need to send it back in.

Couldn't sleep again after dropping my car off at the shop, so I'm making a lentil santa fe soup.
