I HATE Windows 11's right click Shell menu. Some things are integrated directly into the new menu, while others are in the menu behind the "show more" button. Both have different shortcuts. This implementation is worse than any other options.

This is a really terrible bug. I hope they patch it. People have fixed it by rebooting their Macs with the HDMI cable connected.

The only fix I found so far, is a bandaid fix that's only temporary. Plug your HDMI into the mac then restart it while connected. It seems work fine but the next time you go to connect to the monitor, the same issue will happen again.

I have solution, it's weird one, but WORKS.
1.Connect your macbook to the tv/monitor
2. Set your playback device on that tv/monitor.
3. While still connected, restart your macbook. done, your problem should be resolved, I've seen that trick on mac forum, had same problem and that fixed mine

I have the i5 one, but Victus laptops are way more cheaper lol If this is not going to be enough for our harsh use cases or sth, we can connect mouse, keyboard and monitor to get a desktop-like experience Btw HDMI connector directly connects to discrete graphics, and the Type-C DP connects to iGPU
