But we forget that history, which I thought about at a recent rededication of a sculpture that was almost the subject of said cancel culture when it was first commissioned (in Bath, Maine). Lovely event. But no mention of the ugly bits, just "what a great guy, this artist who loved this place."

At 6pm today, electric prices on the PJM were as high as almost $3,000 per MWh (levelized costs are around 2-6% of that).

Encountered something I don't see very often: a 1950 house with the original furnace, a big honkin GE unit (for a tiny, tiny house!). Can't figure out the year but could be as old as the late 40s or as "new" as the mid 50s. Efficiency: probably around 60%, 65% at best.
