When I say Oakland is the most beautiful big city in CA, I’m not kidding. And yes, I know SF exists.
It’s sad to see the affects to Oakland’s economy & housing market due to the relentless SF corporate media’s fear mongering campaign & narrative of the last three years. I knew SF corporate interests would never allow Oakland’s economic boom to continue unabated. Crime has been down for 2 years now.
I hear people in Oakland constantly minimizing graffiti vandalism & sideshows. This is serious anti social behavior which degrades communities. Oakland should not tolerate any of this. Don’t tolerate the constant degradation & disrespect shown to Oakland. This is not OK.
Da Lin of KPIX is back doing his anti-Oakland propaganda for the SF corporate media & the Oakland police union. In the segment they mention that OPD is down to a 25 year low in number of officers but don’t mention that crime is also at a 25 year low.
Have you researched what Governor Newsom is doing to help get people off the streets?
I sent these pictures of graffiti vandalism to the Office of the Mayor asking that the City of Oakland take proper care of Piedmont Avenue, one of Oakland’s prime commercial streets. Heard nothing back from city officials.
Rightwing propaganda from the Daily Caller. Compile the worse footage possible and then call Oakland a “third world city.” I didn’t see any cameras here.

Just attended my first Oakland Ballers game. What an amazing experience. Such a great feeling of community in that beautiful little ballpark and the surrounding refurbished area. Nearby Prescott Market is also a jewel.
Beautiful! Where is that? Now can anyone guess in which big city this video is taken? This is all well within city limits less than 5 miles from downtown.
Oakland is an interesting city. A 1/3 of the city is absolutely gorgeous, 1/3 is beautiful, and 1/3 struggles with urban issues. I

Drove around the Claremont Hills neighborhood of Oakland on a beautiful clear day. What stunning views and architecture. The rugged hillside topography is amazing. Oakland has areas that look like they could be off the coast of Italy.
You don’t know what you’re talking about. There are over 8,000 homes for sale in Las Vegas. Homes stay on the market and there are no multiple offers. In Oakland over 67% of homes sell over asking price.
