Anyways, here’s a fledgling/baby chickadee that just sits around in one spot for a long time while waiting for its parents (I assume) It’s very fluffy and has cute lil polkadots that I didn’t do a great job of capturing It often looks a bit overwhelmed by the world 😂

Was deadheading some dahlias at dusk, and left this one because a bumblebee has tucked herself into it for an evening sleep 🥰🐝🌸

In other news, I just ate four different berries straight off the vine/bush here at my parents’ house The chickadees were telling me off as I was munching on the(ir) blackberries 😆

Four of the dahlia variants (species?) my parents grow, will take more pics tomorrow. They normally start blooming in August one by one, then bloom until Thanksgiving in October as long as we stay on top of deadheading them. This year they’ve all popped early and all at the same time?!

Spending my lunch break cutting out stickers by hand… one day I’ll own a cricut but one thing is certain: I’m very sick of Redbubble’s crazy high fees and lower investment in advertising so it’s time to start turning my own older designs into stickers at home 🫣

Did not realize when I said yes to tonight that the show was from their ‘POP’ series, but this is one of my favourite genres of music so it was fun 💃 The singers were generally pretty good but man they mangled Stand By Me *so badly* I visibly cringed through it 😬 the orchestra was great though
