The client brought in a rather lackluster bypass design with two of these aquamarines and asked me to make a solitaire with accent diamonds. This is what we came up with.
This took far too long to finish due to decisions I made well before I got to casting it. Still, the client loved it.
I see things like this and wonder how much the poster would agree with the statement: “At least we didn’t get another centrist Democrat in the White House, right?”

I’ll give you a twofer, one national, one local. Bee Thousand was a formational record for me—the lo-fi aesthetic, the ramshackle song construction, the nonsensical lyrics—that still color my tastes. Redo the Stacks is the most perfect rock album—unpretentious, lo-fi, with a satisfying crunch.

Just finished setting this for a very sweet customer. The colored stones are birthstones for both her husband and her son. To keep costs down we went with a sterling silver mounting, synthetic rubies, lab-grown diamonds and good quality citrines. I think it turned out well.
Not taking a dig at anyone in these, merely amused at the divergent views in my feed. In my mind, politics is an argument over how to live a good life. The problems come from the people who think there’s only one way to live a good life.
