Game designer who loves PS1 and Cosmic Horror Working on retro Lovecraftian game and a small horror game 🎮 #indiegamedev
Mullet Mad Jack is a must play for those who love fast paced shooters and 90's anime vibes. Just finished it and it was awesome! #indiegames #MulletMadJack #retrogames
I'm blown away by the photos made by Rubin Observatory. Instantly remembered that chilling quote from a Black Mountain Side.
Finished A Quiet Place: the road ahead You know, the game is really creative and cool. I never expect something good from a game based on a movie, but here devs cooked! A new mechanic every chapter, sometimes every level. The game is scary and rarely release the tension. Play with mic on. #horror
Watched Obsession What an incredible horror with some really unpredictable and scary moments. Also actors are top notch, especially Inde Navarrette playing Nikki in such an uncanny ways that it gives chills down your spine. #obsession #horror
Using Orchestrator and really love it! But have a question if there's anyone using it. How do you check if Node is an Orchestrator class name In my case there's an orchestration with class Skeleton, but if I'll check for class directly it will return Node 3D of course. #godot #orchestrator
Along with GDscript I'm making the scripts in Orchestrator which is visual programming add-on for Godot I like both GDscript and the Orchestrator a lot. Will be definitely use the latter since my brain is so much better with visual things than text. So I choose spaghetti nodes over spaghetti code :D
Godot is awesome, I found my new home. I like how intuitive the engine is, yet I see how I can make some complex stuff with it. Some rotation/translation beginner stuff with cubes, it's always fun to start from scratch when the software is responsive and intuitive. #godot
Finished Eternal Castle It's an interesting experience, there were a few frustrating moments where I felt like I need random to bless me, but these were too rare to ruin the experience. Style is awesome, so as animations, really liked how weapons feel and overall gameplay.
Just finished Who's At The Door It was scary and fun :D There are so many anomalies that I met duplicate only once (!) in the whole game (which is 24 days if you play perfectly, that I didn't :D) At first it's hard to understand what counts as anomaly, but the answer is EVERYTHING except the room.
OMG it works so good! I'll research the hell out of my favourite games :D
Also the polaroid feature for map? So cool. I remember such feature in the latest PoP, but here it have so much more sense 'cause it's within the game's world, not just a QoL for player. Also I think Silver Pines perfected survival horror map. Last time I was so impressed by map was in AWII.
Playing Silver Pines demo and I love it! So much love to the survival horror genre in one game! Level design is great, mechanics are polished, story is intriguing. Special thanks for the payphone save system straight from Parasite Eve, BUT improved and more immersive. #silverpines
Finished A Short Hike Such a relaxing adventure <3 #indiegames #aShortHike
Played Crank it! That's a creepy game for sure. Highly recommend to try it. In it you have to crank the handle to recharge the batteries and use those batteries to both: protect yourself and get the elevator running to get out of the mines. It's incredibly intense. #crankit #mikeklubnika #indiegame
One simple example. Look, here’s 8 skills. There are 4 types of them in this pic. Can you tell the difference? Me neither. #marathon
Machin3 have several addons dedicated to Hard surface modelling, but I found Tools incredibly useful for low-poly stuff I revisit documentation once in a while to remind myself of some features that I’m using not so often Oh! Also I use align pie a lot to quickly align verts by just dragging mouse
I use MACHIN3Tools for all my day to day blender stuff and can’t live without it (recommend checking documentation, maybe it’s something you also didn’t know you needed), my Shift + S looks like this in edit mode: Lower options allows to quickly change origin to something, depending on context
If you like horrors - go watch Caveat without reading/watching anything beforehand. Movie managed to surprise me, to scare me and gave an interesting story with unique premise. Recommend. #horror
I’m blown away by how good Parasite Eve 2 is and how much it differs from the first one. So many changes and improvements in both gameplay and graphics that I can’t even process it :D #ParasiteEve
Cut scenes progress between Parasite Eve 1 and 2 is crazy! #ParasiteEve #retrogames
I also like how they use Zebra instead of a critically acclaimed yellow paint :D
Finished Parasite Eve Last boss is a nightmare 4 phases, the third one felt immortal on the first run really. And after the boss there’s a chase sequence that you can fail easily. #ParasiteEve
I didn’t know that seeing and hearing Michael Ironsides Sam Fisher greet and handshake David Hayters Snake will slam me so far back into the past, when I played both game series and adored them a lot.
I adore the experience when you’re looking at the boss and be like “huh, it’s just a crab, ez” And next second mf’s eyes pop out of its head, start flying and shoot lasers at you for half HP. #ParasiteEve #retrogames
One small planet so to speak. Feeling existential crisis breathing into my back when looking at it. And thinking about last year in which I shared only one 3D model not even related to my game. Holy stars, I definitely need to wrap all my job related tasks and do more for my game indeed.
Just like in Endoparasitic, I feel limited, but not in a broken way. It feels intended. And whole game designed so that this limitation doesn’t feel unfair, rather challenging. It force you to immerse yourself into different body type so to speak and it’s brilliant IMO. Great game! #indiegames
Playing Camelot 10000CE One more time @miziziziz.deeproot.dev showing the master class on the “limited controls leads to the most stressful gameplay”. My first encounter was already pretty much frightening and I only met 2 types of enemies so far. I don’t want to meet bosses tbh :D #indiegames
Completed Majora’s Mask. There was so much fun stuff in this game, some frustrating moments (Goron trial and goron race are freaking cursed) and I enjoyed playing it so much OMG #TheLegendofZelda
