Today marks the one year anniversary of Spurs posting something to Bluesky. And, may I suggest, maybe something else should be top of the feed at this point...?
The British press is so incapable of coming up with new material at this point that their current attack line on Andy Burnham is simply regurgitating a Labour campaign poster from the 2010 general election. Just a reminder, the 2010 general election was sixteen years ago.
Well how about that: Facebook proved it can be useful for something other than shoving malware onto elderly relatives' computers by reminding me about Farage having his own private Partygate in the midst of Lockdown six years ago. Of course his supporters were making excuses back then.
So this bubbled up on my feed again, having posted it three years ago. Still sadly relevant.
Whenever you feel like you ended a conversation on a somewhat embarrassing note and you need to find a hole to crawl into and cringe, remember that Lou Reed's final online post was the following image.
My bedroom wall after watching Finding Emily, and spending a large chunk of the film's runtime convinced on of my former uni housemates wrote it and owes me a ton of royalties. (No, if you were wondering, none of them did...)
It's time for the monthly film roundup. And on the subject of film roundups, if the makers of The Witch: Part 2 had one of those, I wouldn't have spent the entire runtime fighting the urge to go on Wikipedia to remind myself what happened in the first film...
Well now I'm curious to see if BBC London informed, educated and entertained their viewers by calling Spurs "Gunners" after winning the Europa League last season.
Thought there were loads of photos of him freely available online. Like this one.
I presume the next idiotic suggestion is to report that umbrella shop on Shaftsbury Avenue (you know the one...) to the local greengrocer?
Well that's me with The Days of Swine and Roses stuck in my head for the rest of the day...
Once more it's time for the monthly film roundup. Also, the sudden realisation that I used to post these on Mastodon and haven't in eff knows how long.
